About Me
I didn’t come to menswear through fashion magazines or the retail industry.
I came to it through travel.

For more than 18 years, I worked with the United Nations World Food Programme, living and working across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Along the way, I became fascinated by something that had nothing to do with my job:
How men dress.
Not trends. Not labels.
How clothing reflects confidence, culture, and self-respect.
That interest began long before my international career.
Growing up in an African American household, presentation mattered. Clean shoes. Pressed clothes. Fresh haircut.
Those weren’t fashion rules.
They were lessons in self-respect.
The turning point came when I moved to Rome.
Living in Italy taught me that great style is about quality, fit, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Curiosity eventually led me to study menswear design at the Istituto di Moda Burgo and tailoring at the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori.
Today, this blog brings together the things I love most: travel, culture, craftsmanship, and menswear.
I’ve spent much of my life exploring the world. Now I’m exploring how men around the world choose to present themselves.
